Common Weal developed the Artist in Schools and Community Manual, and facilitated pilot workshops, to provide a model for artists working in schools using a variety of disciplines. The goal of the program was to offer Prince Albert area citizens a better understanding of the unique role the arts can play in the life of the community. Program partners include the Saskatchewan Rivers School Division, SaskLearning, 10 Prince Albert community schools, CARFAC, Youth Activity Centre, Prince Albert Arts Centre, and Artsmarts.
